Escape the city bustle and immerse yourself in Uganda’s rich wildlife, landscapes, and cultures—an adventure-packed holiday offering both excitement and serenity.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Hotel Transfer

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy optional Entebbe town excursions before settling in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most scenic conservation area. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided white rhino tracking experience, the only place to see rhinos in Uganda.

Continue to Murchison Falls, where the River Nile is forced through a narrow gorge before plunging 60 meters below—one of Uganda’s top natural wonders. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hippos, and crocodiles.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, exploring open savannah plains rich with wildlife such as lions, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and waterbucks.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise offers excellent birdwatching and photography opportunities, with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive southwest to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa. Enjoy scenic views of rural Uganda and lunch en route.

Kibale Forest is home to over 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

Overnight near the park.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start the day with an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking safari in Kibale Forest, where you may also encounter forest elephants, buffaloes, and rare monkey species.

After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife park, famous for its savannah plains, crater lakes, and rich biodiversity.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Enjoy an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, spotting elephants, lions, Uganda kob, buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks, and more.

After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This is one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda, with dense concentrations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife including pelicans, kingfishers, and saddle-billed storks.

Day 7: Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Early morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions. Continue south to Lake Bunyonyi, passing through scenic highland villages and terraced hills.

Lake Bunyonyi—“the place of many little birds”—is Uganda’s most picturesque lake, dotted with 29 islands and surrounded by lush green hills.

Overnight at the lake.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the highlight of your safari—mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda.

Following a ranger briefing, trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Trek duration ranges from 3 to 8 hours depending on gorilla movements. Once found, you will spend one magical hour with the gorillas.

Return to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, swimming, canoeing, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the tranquil scenery.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Depart Lake Bunyonyi and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping in Mbarara town for lunch. Arrive in the park early afternoon.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive or boat safari, spotting zebras, eland antelopes, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species—making Lake Mburo ideal for birding safaris.

Dinner and overnight inside the park.

Day 10: Lake Mburo Activities & Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, choose between a guided bush walk, mountain biking safari, or horseback riding safari in Lake Mburo National Park.

Later, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport, stopping at the Equator line for photos and souvenir shopping. Arrival in Entebbe in time for your onward flight.
