The 5 Days Murchison Falls & Kibale Chimp Tracking Tour takes you to 2 National Parks, a boat cruise and wildlife viewing, and Kibale National Park for Chimpanzee tracking, While here you will experience and see the beauty of Uganda and get a clear meaning of why it’s called the “Pearl of Africa”.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Have a morning breakfast at the hotel around Kampala, and thereafter drive towards Murchison Falls National Park, you will go through the Luwero triangle, stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home to various rhinos, and also en route Masindi for lunch as you head to the Park. Check-in at the lodge and relax in the evening.
Day 2: Morning Game drive and an afternoon boat cruise
In the morning have an early breakfast and proceed to the park for the game drive, you will be able to view various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, and also different bird species among others. After lunch go for a boat cruise during the afternoon on the Nile River. Later proceed for a hike to the top of the falls where you will be in line to see the Nile and how it makes its way through the narrow gap, after meeting your driver guide and drive back to the Lodge. Have dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On this day you will enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge, thereafter drive to Kibale national park. On your way, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the beautiful countryside endowed with the Albertine escarpments so you will pass via Hoima to Fort Portal. Stopover in Masindi for lunch. After lunch we continue to Kibale national park, which is one of Africa’s great rain forests, this park is home to 13 primate species such as chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, and birds such as rumped tinker birds, the green-breasted pitta, yellow spotted nicator, among others. Arrive at the park, then check in at the lodge, relax, and have dinner in the evening.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and a visit to Bigodi wetland
Wake up early enough and have breakfast, after breakfast proceed to the park headquarters with packed lunch from the lodge for the briefing about chimpanzee tracking. Later, enter the amazing rain forest to look for the Chimpanzees, meeting them will be one of the most amazing experiences as you will enjoy watching them play around, feed young ones, and the males guarding the territories. After that, enjoy your packed lunch in the wild, in the afternoon after tracking, visit Bigodi swamp where you will be able to see some other primates like the mongoose, bush pigs, baboons, otters.
Day 5: Transfer to back to Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, depart with great memories of the moments spent at Kibale Forest, Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe with lunch en-route.
