Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park & Crater Lake Exploration
Begin your safari with a scenic transfer from Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale National Park, travelling through the beautiful countryside of western Uganda. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, tea plantations, traditional villages and lush farmland.
Upon arrival in the Kibale area, check in at your lodge and have some time to relax and refresh.
In the late afternoon/evening, head out for a Crater Lake exploration around the Kibale region. Discover the stunning volcanic crater landscapes, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and take a leisurely walk around one of the area’s picturesque crater lakes. This is a peaceful way to begin your safari while experiencing the natural beauty of the region.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Nature Walk
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale National Park. Trek through the lush tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities and enjoy sightings of other primates, including red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys and blue monkeys.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
In the late afternoon/evening, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. The trail takes you through wetlands, forest and local communities, offering opportunities to spot several monkey species, colourful birds, butterflies and other wildlife. The walk also provides an authentic glimpse into the local way of life and community conservation initiatives around Kibale.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game Drive & Boat Cruise
After breakfast, depart Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, lions and other wildlife.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s finest wildlife-viewing experiences. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous water birds along the shores.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Rise early for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Explore the park’s savannah plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions and other wildlife.
After the game drive, proceed toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through the spectacular landscapes of southwestern Uganda, with opportunities to enjoy views of rolling hills, local communities and terraced farmland. Arrive at your lodge and relax in preparation for the following day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Community Experience
Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the ancient Bwindi forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once you locate the gorillas, spend the permitted time observing their fascinating behaviour and taking photographs.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, experience a Batwa community tour, learning about the Batwa people’s traditional forest lifestyle, cultural heritage, music, dance and close connection with the Bwindi forest.

Day 6: Scenic Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe
