Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set off from Kampala and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park; located on the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori in Kasese using the Masaka-Mbarara road. Stopover at the equator for photographs and then process to Queen Elizabeth; check-in at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Lodge/Bush lodge. And then have an evening game drive in the Mweya Peninsular. You will spot buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and elephants or you can visit Lake Katwe town with its attractive display of crater lakes. Check out salt mining or you may opt to relax.

Day 2: Game Viewing, Boat trip, and Transfer to Bwindi (Travel Time +2)
Wake up early, take breakfast then start with a game view to Kasenyi plains. You are likely to see black and white colobus monkey, bushbuck, Uganda Kob, topi, Defassa waterbuck, and Cape buffaloes. A collection of birds like Cassin’s grey flycatcher, broad-billed roller, black bee-eater along the banks of Lake Edward. Return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon boat trip; then in the afternoon go for a launch cruise on Kazinga channel (2hrs) along with Lake George-Lake Edward, come closer to see the school of hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and leopards though infrequent. Ornithologists should look out for over 650 resident species like flamingos, red chest, papyrus Gonolek, pink backed pelicans, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, pink backed pelicans, water thick-knee, yellow-billed stork, shoebill stock. And then transfer to Bwindi National Park

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Being your day with early morning breakfast with packed lunch, then your driver-guide will transfer to the starting point for a briefing by your guide. You will be allocated guides to track gorillas with, and then will be off to begin your adventure. The time is taken and the terrain varies (1- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of sometimes long and arduous trek. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngster’s frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful manner.
In the evening you could choose to still stay and relax at the lodge or take an evening walk through the Batwa community, this will give you chance to interact with these people, learn how they live and also watch them perform their traditional dances and songs.

Day 4: Drive to Kampala/Entebbe Airport (Travel Time +8 hours)
After your morning breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala/Entebbe, you will have an en-route stopover at Igongo culture center to explore the culture of the Ankole region and then embark on the drive to Kampala/Entebbe Airport.
