Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will go for Chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are closest to human beings and are great to watch being playful both on the ground and in the trees. In the afternoon, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of Uganda’s most popular parks, offering scenic game drives. It has a wide variety of wild animals and over 600 bird species, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savannah to wetlands and lowland forests. Have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. Proceed to the lodge.
Day 3: Morning game drive and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have an early morning game drive. There are over 100 mammal species including lion, hippo, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, elephant, and the elusive giant forest hog in this park. You will also visit the salt lakes in Katwe before returning to the lodge. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species.
